About Us
As a non-profit, international, independent institution dedicated to the scientific study of brain-behavior relationship, the Neurobehavioral Institute of Miami maintains an active research program in partnership with a number of institutions in Latin America and Europe. It is also a service institution providing neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, as well as cognitive rehabilitation and psychotherapy through its service affiliates, Neurobehavioral Services, Inc., Neurocognitive Rehab, Inc., and Neuro-Rehab Associates, LLC.
The Neurobehavioral Institute of Miami also plays a very active role in the training of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as young professionals in the field of clinical neuropsychology. To this effect, the Neurobehavioral Institute of Miami is a member of the Association of Post-Doctoral and Psychology Internship Centers (APPIC) and runs a pre-doctoral internship program in clinical neuropsychology. It is also a practicum site for different universities, both in the United States, as well as in Latin America. Post-doctoral fellows also receive training in the field of clinical neuropsychology in the Neurobehavioral Institute of Miami.
